Last updated 19 August 2026

The Reviewery ("we", "us") is operated from British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Short version: we collect what the app needs to work, we don't sell it, and you can delete everything from inside the app.

What we collect

How we use it

To run the service: show scores and tap lists, compute your Passport and palate profile, match you with people whose scores correlate with yours ("Trusted Palates"), send the notifications you turned on, and keep the community safe. Venue summaries ("What people say") are generated automatically from published reviews.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host the app's data (Supabase), deliver push notifications (Apple), and screen photos and summarise reviews (Anthropic). They process data on our behalf under contract. We don't sell personal data and we don't run third-party advertising.

Your choices

Retention & security

We keep data while your account exists and for a short period after deletion for backups. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting provider. Access is limited to the people who run the service.

Children

The Reviewery is for people of legal drinking age where they live. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 19.

Changes

We'll post changes here and, for material changes, in the app.
