Community Guidelines

The Reviewery works because the people on it take beer — and each other — seriously. Four rules.

1. Review the place, not the person

Score what you drank, who served you and the room you were in. Name staff only to praise them. No insults, no speculation about people's lives.

2. Be there

Review places you've actually visited. Verified visits are badged; repeated reviews from people who were never there get removed.

3. Photos: bar, board, room, beer

That's it. No faces in focus, no phones, no memes, no screenshots. Every photo is screened before it goes live.

4. Disclose

If you work for, own, or are paid by a venue or brewery, say so in your review or don't review it. Undisclosed promotion is removed and repeat offenders are banned.

Report anything that breaks these from the ··· menu on any review or photo. A human reads every report.
